Strange Villages
The Villages of Villages projects are taking root as the population of humans on the planet keeps growing beyond 8 billion individuals. It is evident that most social structure are not meeting their objectives, and have failed to scale from countries of 50 million to 1.5 billion. For instance in many countries a large fraction of voters never vote. In addition technological fixes such as the Smart Cities initiatives failed to help communities survive the COVID pandemic. The pandemic triggered the Smart Village movements in India and the European Union. These movements foreground social ingenuity not just digital innovation.
